Funky Furniture SF has been making custom, eco-friendly, mid-century modern inspired sofas for over ten years. When you visit our showroom, located at 5391 College Avenue in Oakland, you will find it stocked with our signature line of customizable sofas as well as an assortment of personally selected modern furniture, rugs, lighting fixtures, hand made pillows, re-claimed wooden case pieces and locally made occasional tables.
We believe in producing green products, we source the wood for our products exclusively from vendors who have been certified under the standards set by theForest Stewardship Council. Our sofas are fabricated in California, and we do what can to support local artisans and furniture makers.

Jason and Kania were thorough, very clear in their communication, prompt with all responses, and more than willing to work through many different details and special requests. I was easily able to mix and match features (color, fabric choice, number of cushions, all measurements, trim, buttons, etc. are all flexible) from different models. I also liked that I could try the couches in person in their showroom, which helped to eliminate the guess-work of custom fabrication. The couch I custom ordered arrived one day ahead of schedule, in perfect condition. The craftsmanship is top-quality--there isn't a seam out of place.
